You promised you would stay forever
You promised you would smile for me
You promised you would play catch with me
You promised you would go to the dance with me
You promised I would never fall over
You promised mom you would always go with her
You promised all of these things to me
But in the end you only left broken promises
They sing in the sky
They drum on the land
Powering through the mightiest mountain
Gliding through the silent trees
Everywhere you can hear the chime
Anytime it will be on your mind
You stop and wait, waiting for the music
But its already there
As the winds of the music
They clash and they fight
Never taking a breather
Never taking a rest
One a Knight of the realm
The other a warrior of the night
They will always be together
In battle till the ends of forever
The snow so thick and treacherous to the weak
I am the last one to seek
I travel alone, far from my home
With only the white wolves to keep me company
They don’t accept me as their own
But they smell it, my determination to live
So I travel the snowy road
So far away from my home
He wanders the streets
Alone and in pain
The one he loved had flew far away
Forever he will think of her
Forever he will want her
But he will never have her, ever again
She will always have his heart, wherever she may go
Always by her side he will always remain
In the deepest parts of the forest
There was a beautiful tree of green and yellow
It was so tall and mighty
But was the most beautiful thing you would ever see
The fairy who guarded the tree was young but wise
She never left its side
Forever the tree stood strong
Forever the fairy will live long
For they are both entwined
Never will they ever leave each others side
The wind howls in rage
For I am on my own today
Waves crash against the boat
Good thing I grabbed my best coat
She roars at me from the distance
I close my eyes and prepare
For tonight will be my last
In this never ending game I play
They grow in the fields
They bloom atop the mightiest mountains
Forever they will grow with time
Forever they will always rise
Blooming in different colors
Growing in different sizes
Showing us the beauty of this world
Always making a small child smile
They blow in the wind
They soar in the skies
Slowly forgotten with time
You try to remember
That one piece of your life in the past
But its forgotten
Forgotten due to the length of time
I look upon the street of sorrow
People walking this way
Children running that way
No one knowing were they are going
Or where they will end up
I close the blinds to my room
